We read half a story “Perfectly Norman”, and stopped half way through. We stopped and practiced making predictions about what will happen when Norman takes off his jacket, and gave reasons.

Cause and Effect Game: We learned about using conjunctions before start of a sentence such as “since” “due to the fact”, with an ‘effect’ card we picked up. Teams had to come up with our own reasons (cause) to make our own sentences. “Since I didnt eat I was desperately hungry”
Where does the data come from? G2 learners are inquiring into data and graphs. They came up with questions to ask NIS learners to find out if they make healthy choices. This week we visited elementary classrooms to collect responses. G2s created bar graphs to represent the data.
