💡 We’re working with the industry to prepare for the next round of power uprates—safely increasing the power output of operating reactors. We met with @NEI to discuss regulatory engagement, their draft guidance for applicants, and a graded approach for our reviews.

🔦 Inspectors from our Region II were recently at the Browns Ferry nuclear plant during Unit 3’s refueling outage. Outages give our inspectors access to areas that are not available when a plant is operating at power.

Our Commissioners met with 16 international partners at last week's #NRCRIC2026. These partnerships benefit our domestic mission and advance U.S. interests on the global stage as envisioned under recent Executive Orders and the Advance Act.
