Generally speaking, whether or not technology can be thought of as good or bad depends on how it is used. We human beings should not be slaves to technology or machines. We should be in charge.
@Syknapse It changes regularly. Also I don't just do front end. But right now I'm most often using:
HTML/CSS
Javascript
VS Code
Cmder or Ubuntu cmdline
D3.js
Python/Django
Pandas/Jupyter Lab
Vanilla text editor (for notes, quick and dirty stuff)
Codepen
Jekyll/Markdown
Excel
Front-end developers who are working and getting paid for it, please list all the tech you actually use regularly.
Let's give learners a realistic view of what they need professionally.
RT for reach 🙏🏼 Thanks

Biggest boost to my design chops in the olden days: Learning as much as possible about typography.
Heirarchy, grid (or not!), tone, mood, readability, information retention... the biggest impact is most often from smart use of type. Learn type.
Maybe I’m the only one that does this but I pretty much always have a #Jupyter tab open for life’s daily data munging needs, whether I’m processing data, working with a #d3 prototype, or just doing data-sciencey stuff.
It's a little slow today, so you have two options:
1⃣ come down here and buy some books
2⃣ reply to this tweet with your favorite GIF and we'll issue you a book recommendation based on that alone
