Donating Saves Lives 💙💚 On Tuesday, our officers spent time at @unlv for the Dogs, Donuts and Donate Life event. Throughout the month of April, law enforcement agencies across Nevada are partnering with the @nvdonor to encourage organ donor registrations in recognition of Donate Life Month. With K9 meet-and-greets and free donuts, the event aimed to bring students and staff together to learn more about the impact of organ donation and sign up to become donors on the spot. Did you know? April 19-25 is #NationalPediatricTransplant Week! Our goal is to end the pediatric transplant waiting list. Currently, there are more than 2,200 children waiting for a lifesaving transplant & 27% of them are under five. In 2025, 1,874 children received lifesaving transplants, matched from nearly 900 pediatric organ donors. #DonateLife #NDLM #BeAHero
