The Nevada Department of Education joins communities across Nevada in remembering service members' courage and enduring legacy. The Department is closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume normal operations on Tuesday, May 26. #MemorialDay

Superintendent Wakefield attended the Annual Governor’s/Tribal Leaders Summit at @unlv, where tribal leaders met with Governor Lombardo. Our Indian Education program highlighted the Native Youth Community Project grant and state’s priorities for improving student outcomes.
