Our recent dreary weather will come to an end as we finish out the week, with temperatures returning to more spring-like conditions by Friday and Saturday. Another cold front moves through the region on Sunday, with temperatures dropping slightly behind it. #stlwx #mowx #ilwx

Numerous showers and a few thunderstorms are expected through midnight. Precipitation coverage will decrease after midnight with isolated showers possible Wednesday. However, much of the time will lean drier with cooler-than-normal conditions. #mowx #ilwx #stlwx

If you think it's been a cool start to May, you're right! We're on track to be about 5 degrees cooler than we usually are by May 9th. The cool weather won't last forever, though. The Climate Prediction Center forecasts temps leaning above average during the second half of May.
