#NeverForget the sacrifice of Patrolman Julius Mirell who was shot and killed on March 9, 1948, with his service revolver while attempting to arrest a burglary suspect. Patrolman Julius Mirell was survived by his wife and two children.

Yesterday we mourned the line of duty death that took place in 1952, of Patrolmen James J. McGillion, we will not forget his sacrifice. Our newly graduated recruits prove this as we welcome them to the 34 precinct as they have sworn to keep the 3-4 safe and carry out his legacy!
