Rising Star: Aliviah Ball, 8th grader at Grinnell Middle School, ties her PR jump of 5’6” in the high jump, the nations number one jump for a middle school girl, she narrowly missed 5’8”. Last season as a 7th grader she had the nations best mark at 5’6” as well. Next season she will be in 1A as Wheatland-Grinnell is one of the smallest schools in the state.
