After decades of service to our country, a career that started as a Navy pilot and finished as a three star admiral, I was removed from my position without cause. I still have more to give, more to fight for, more work to do — and I am not done serving. Join my team at nancylacore.com

For 111 years, the U.S. Navy Reserve has answered the call when America needs it most. Leading 60,000 Sailors as Chief of Navy Reserve was the honor of my career and prepared me to keep serving our country in a new way. Happy Birthday, U.S. Navy Reserve!

Thank you to my friends, Ginny Deerin & Linda Ketner, for hosting such a wonderful gathering last night. Leaders & neighbors who’ve been invested in the future of SC for decades and who believe we can win this seat. Proud to stand with those committed to moving SC-01 forward.

Inviting Douglas Wilson to preach at the Pentagon sends a clear and troubling message to our troops: not all of you belong. That is wrong, and it is not the military I served in—where diversity was our strength and unity was how we got the job done.

Controversial Pastor Doug Wilson's theological and historical views, particularly on gender roles and slavery, have long drawn scrutiny and criticism. navytimes.com/news/pentagon-…

Welcome home to my son and to every service member returning to the arms of loved ones. I’ve been on both sides of deployment — and I’ll always fight for the men and women who wear the uniform and the families who support them. Freedom isn’t free.

Rev. Jesse Jackson, a son of South Carolina from just up I-26 in Greenville, is an American hero. He carried forward the work of Dr. King with unwavering determination — continuing the march, continuing the fight. His historic presidential campaigns in the 1980s helped expand the boundaries of what was possible in American politics and opened doors for future leaders. He challenged the nation to be more just and more compassionate. Above all, he taught us to take pride in who we are and in the dignity of our work. His call for unity among working Americans is even more relevant and urgent today.

On Presidents’ Day, we honor the presidency, not for any one person, but for the responsibility it carries: upholding the Constitution, respecting the rule of law, and serving the people. Having served under multiple Presidents, I know our country works best when leaders put the nation above themselves.

Really enjoyed the program put on by SINO in Charleston this evening. It was a pleasure to hear the speakers tell about their experiences in Ukraine and be reminded that Democracy is worth fighting for.

This type of rhetoric does not deserve to be amplified, but it is too dangerous to ignore. This depiction of Black Americans is a tactic meant to shock and distract, with a long and violent history, and it has no place in our politics. Barack and Michelle Obama have always modeled leadership grounded in dignity, empathy, and respect for the American people. That is the standard our country deserves.

President Donald Trump says he won't apologize for posting a racist video of the Obamas. Trump told reporters, “I didn't make a mistake,” as he flew to Florida aboard Air Force One on Friday. apnews.com/article/trump-…

Nancy Lacore isn’t in this fight for her own personal gain. She’s running in SC-01 because she genuinely believes in putting people above partisanship.
