In Chandigarh, it seems you can’t even get proper medical treatment without “सिफारिश” A 19-year-old met with an accident and was taken to GMCH-32. First aid was given but doctors said the emergency X-ray machine (needed for multiple angles) was not working and would take 20-25 days to fix. How is someone with a fractured leg supposed to wait that long? Then came the real shock. After a call from a “सर” the machine started working and the X-ray was done. This is the state of our system. Absolutely unacceptable!
