Native American voters often face significant barriers to accessing the right to vote. We are working to change that. For the first time ever, Tribal members can now register to vote at an Indian Health Service facility, Native Health of Phoenix.

Arizona now has a Native American Day. Today, June 2, is Native American Day in Arizona. Thanks to the Legislative efforts of Navajo State Senator Jamescita Peshlakai, D-Window Rock. Her Legislative Bill recognizing June 2, as Native American Day, was signed into law April 2018.
