🇮🇱🇱🇧 2 IDF soldiers have been jailed for 30 days after one smashed a statue of Jesus Christ with a sledgehammer in southern Lebanon while the other filmed it. Both removed from combat duty. Swift punishment, but this is not an isolated incident. It follows the destruction of a Saint George statue in Yaroun during Palm Sunday, the demolition of a 1st century Christian shrine near Tyre, and IDF strikes on two churches in Gaza.
