Dr. Leila Nicolas has been repeatedly welcomed into the United States. She was a Fulbright Scholar at Fordham University - a program funded by American taxpayers. She also received a scholarship from the U.S. Department of State and has been hosted as a visiting scholar at Stanford University, Claremont McKenna College, and California State University. American tax dollars and prestigious U.S. universities have given her platforms, funding, and credibility. Now she openly posts “Death to Lindsey Graham.” Why is someone who celebrates the death of a U.S. Senator still being allowed into this country and given access to American academic institutions and taxpayer-funded programs? These universities and the U.S. government should be forced to answer: Did American taxpayers help fund her visits and education in the U.S.? Are they aware she publicly celebrated the death of a U.S. Senator? Will they continue to host and fund people who post this kind of hatred?
