The report is basically saying
FFXIV made less money than the Dawntrail launch year.
NOT that FFXIV is losing money.
FFT Ivalice Chronicles moved a lot of units and that makes me super happy!

Square Enix announced their 2025 Fiscal Year earnings today! Although Net Sales (total 297.661 billion yen) is down 8.3% from the previous year, net profit increased 21.3% at 29.6 billion yen. HD console games sales for FF Tactics and Dragon Quest I & II and VII Reimagined, among other previous titles, were strong for this year. FFXIV sales decreased on YoY due to Dawntrail being released during the 2024 fiscal year. Amusement category (arcade centers) profit was up 13.1%, Publishing down 10.3%, and Rights & Properties up 85.2%, which is very interesting.
