This week, we had a blast celebrating Wellness Week 2025 with a Food Factor or Fit Challenge and Spirit Days! St. Patrick’s Day added some festive fun, and the Reader’s Cafe proudly presented to our Board of Education. Thanks to all who participated and supported these events!

In their Mesopotamia unit, social studies took a brief pause from studying ziggurats to tackle a STEM challenge! While Mesopotamian ziggurats aimed to reach the sky, our students applied teamwork and their understanding of ziggurats to build the tallest towers they could!

Newcomb’s school-wide DEAR time was extra special this week! Instead of reading in the classrooms, the whole school gathered in the hallway to read together. Students & staff also enjoyed fun spirit days! A great way to celebrate Read Across America! 📚
