Introducing USDX — the native dollar of the Nexus economy. A shared settlement layer for all apps, trades, and markets on Nexus. One asset. Unified liquidity. Protocol-native incentives. Capital is converging, and USDX is its native home. Read more: blog.nexus.xyz/introducing-us…

@maggielove_ on the L1 story crypto Twitter is missing: "You think some of these chains aren't doing stuff. They are building private stablecoins and piloting with huge banks." "We might not see them at ETH Denver. But they're going to institutional conferences for sure."

Most L1s were built when proving a computation was computationally expensive. That ceiling has moved. What you build when the cryptography is no longer the bottleneck looks completely different.

The AI x crypto integrations are accelerating. The question every builder should be asking: Is the chain I'm building on designed for agents to run on autonomously, or am I wrapping human infrastructure with AI tooling? The answer changes everything about how the system behaves under load.

"Agents will be doing most of our transactions. The chat box might be the last thing we ever look at." "You give your agent a wallet, it goes off and does everything." -- @maggielove_ on the next interface paradigm.

Every chain claims high throughput. The question worth asking is how much of that throughput is actually provable. Recording a computation and proving it ran correctly are different operations.

The infrastructure question nobody was asking five years ago is being asked now. Not "What can I do with a blockchain?" But "What can an agent do with one?" @LehighU's Hank Korth on Exponential EP30:

Two things finance has never had at the same time. Here's what changes when you stop making that trade-off:

The full conversation covers ZK acceleration, layer 2 finality, medical AI verification, and decentralized LLMs. Closing the episode, Korth borrowed a line from The Graduate to answer where the next decade of meaningful work is heading: "ZK is the new plastics." Korth's prediction: Jurisdictions that publish regulations in proof-friendly formats become more attractive places to do business. Stablecoin ecosystems start competing on privacy features, not the price of a dollar. A competitive market for provable compliance.

A @LehighU professor joined @danielmcglynn on Exponential this week with a line that cuts to the heart of the agentic finance era: "My AI agent can't open a bank account." That single observation reshapes what the infrastructure layer of finance has to do next. Here's why:

@NexusLabs is building the foundation for verifiable markets, one core primitive at a time. Each piece, from execution to liquidity to exchange infrastructure, is designed to make markets more efficient, transparent, and composable onchain. Q1 was a big quarter for Nexus. Here's a look at everything that moved.

In 10 years, the best-performing fund manager won't be a person. It'll be an agent running on infrastructure that can mathematically prove every trade it executed.

Most of the hard problems in blockchain infrastructure come from the same place. The system can tell you what happened. It cannot prove the computation ran correctly. For a human reading a block explorer, the distinction feels academic. For an AI agent deciding whether to trust another agent's output, it is everything. The shift from "records" to "proofs" is not a feature upgrade. It is a different category of infrastructure.
