This is only the second Gila Monster that Elizabeth and I have seen in around 14 years of living here at our desert home in Tucson.

Flying from HNL on a @Delta flight. Was just informed by the pilot that we are transporting a WW2 POW whose remains were only just identified in 2024 - though he passed in 1942. ❤️🇺🇸 He has an escort on board and the pilot asked that when we land, we all allow his escort to deplane first.

August 1990, two hikers walking near Calvine in the Scottish Highlands reported seeing a large, diamond shaped object hovering in the sky. The men claimed the object was metallic and remained stationary for several minutes before blasting upward at high speed.
