Upwork and Fiverr are a race to the bottom. They stop freelance writers from: • Charging higher rates • Landing quality clients • Creating efficiencies If you use these platforms, you're making 3 big mistakes. In this video, I explain why: tapthe.link/58WirQkcIs

Most writers want to learn everything they can about writing except actually writing.

Endurance is a differentiator. I've been writing online since 2007. I've seen a LOT of creators explode in popularity and then quit or pivot. To succeed, you didn't have to be "better" than them. You just had to keep going.

@Tim_Denning I've always said: Strive for freedom, not recognition. A lot of the people who are recognized and celebrated in ways you desire, had to trade a significant portion of freedom in order to get there. All depends on which outcome matters more to you.

People who chase outcomes rarely stay consistent. People who fall in love with the process are consistent forever. This is why I became a writer—I can write until the day I die.

In 2020, I created 3 business rules that changed my life. Since then, I've added 6 more. If you're just getting started in business, read these rules:

The 1% consistency problem is real. But here's what changed for me: treating content like a system, not inspiration. I built 12 ChatGPT/Claude prompts for different content types. Now I batch 20 posts in 45 minutes instead of spending 10 hours/week staring at blank screens. Ghostwriters who automate their research + outlining process can handle 3-5x more clients without burning out. The ones who don't? Still trading hours for dollars.

@Nicolascole77 most people make up rules after they've already won and act like they invented the formula

@Nicolascole77 This makes you rethink how much time you spend just learning instead of doing, Nicolas.

most of these "rules" frameworks just get ignored if you don't have a forcing function to actually follow them. what's the system you use to stay consistent with yours.

@Nicolascole77 most people collect rules and never follow through on any of them. curious how many of these 9 you actually use weekly vs just reference.

@Tim_Denning Confidence comes from doing things so many times you no longer wonder whether you "can" or "can't." It's autopilot. You just do. And you're not worried about what anyone else thinks because you know you've done it 1,000x more than they have—which render's their opinion obsolete.
