Hard to overstate this

Can someone explain how "ignore" unit restance works with resistance reduction? My current theory is if enemy has 100 armor, sunder reduces by 30, and ignore 40% works on the remaining 70, for 100-30-70*40%=42 Armor. Is this correct? @TFTSloan
