🦅 Opening week of the fall sports season is here! Football, swim, volleyball, soccer, softball, and cross country all start their regular seasons this week.

Dr. Allison Fleetwood was presented the Missouri Outstanding Theatre Educator of the Year Award today by MSHSAA and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).  The award was presented at the MSHSAA Theatre State Championships at Marshfield High School. Dr. Fleetwood was recognized for the contributions she makes to the Nixa school community as well as the impact she has had upon the Arts and theatre throughout the state of Missouri.

🎊 Nixa’s athletic program has been identified as a 2024 recipient of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Quality Program Recognition at the Exemplary Level. 🎊 This award would be the same level as a National Blue Ribbon award for athletics. To be recognized for this award, the district must present evidence of existing policies, practices, and procedures that meet suggested content criteria within the ten Quality Program assessment categories. Only 50 school districts have ever received this award nationally. And, there have only been a total of three Missouri school districts to ever receive this award, of which Nixa is one. The Quality Program Recognition was presented to Dr. Brandon Clark, CAA, athletic director of Nixa Public Schools, during a recognition ceremony during the NIAAA/NFHS National Conference in Austin, Texas. 👏

🏀🏆 Congratulations to @NixaBBasketball, who closed out the 2024 Rogers Hoopfest with a 64-38 win over Heritage today to win the Orange Division Championship! 🏆🏀 Jaise Combs (18), Adam McKnight (17), Keivon Flint (13), and Ty Kellis (11) all finish in double figures. Eagles move to 3-0 and gear up for their trip to Florida on Dec. 19-21, where they will compete in the KSA Tournament. Way to go, boys! 👏🦅
