Can someone from Palantir please DM me the date of Raúl Castro’s blackbagging so I can be sure to be in Miami?

A side project I've been working on is a time-lock encryption oracle that can be easily used by humans and agents. Use it for delayed data access, embargoes, sending messages/files to the future, or anything else you can come up with. 1. Timelock a file in the browser by choosing the unlock time, drag and drop the file, and click encrypt. Easy. You then have the encrypted file to share with others. 2. When a key's time arrives, anyone with the encrypted file can decrypt it in their browser. All of the above can also be done by developers and agents in the terminal using only curl and openssl, which all machines should have installed already. Get your agent to experiment with it! It works by publishing an RSA key for each minute for the next 30 days. The system then releases the corresponding private key at the top of each new minute. It was designed to be maximally simple and compatible with all systems. This is not a commercial project and is not related to @River. I just wanted something like this exist on the internet to see how people use it. Have fun!

$IREN Bare-Metal —-> AI Services —-> AI Factory platforms 4 Stages to GPU Monetization 1. Raw GPU Capacity
 a. 5-15% margin 2. GPU-as-a-Service
 a. 15-25% margin 3. Managed AI Services
 a. 30-45% margin 4. AI Factory Platform
 a. 50%+ margin
Mirantis@MirantisIT

Selling GPUs won’t scale your margins. Real monetization begins when you evolve from raw compute to AI services and eventually to AI factory platforms. The ultimate goal is simple: stop selling capacity and start delivering outcomes with margins to match. Watch the on-demand webinar to learn how leading teams are making that shift. buff.ly/SD1ABie #AIFactory #NeoCloud #GPU #AIInfrastructure #k0rdentAI

🇺🇸 DeSantis used water scarcity to draw a line on AI expansion in Florida. New law bans data centers from draining municipal water during droughts and stops utilities from passing costs to consumers. Cooling servers shouldn’t compete with drinking water, at least for now

🇺🇸 HOLY CRAP! Rep. Tim Burchett gets a phone briefing from Pete Hegseth’s staff tomorrow at 3PM on UFO disclosure. His words: “I don’t want everybody to get their hopes up.” The Defense Secretary’s office making these calls is new.

Why does a company the sells GPUs need to rent GPUs? Besides accounting fraud that is. $NVDA $IREN

When it comes to talent acquisition and retention, your choices for an org are pretty clear: Either be: A) Remote-first with a heavy hybrid/retreat model so that people get lots of in-person time together. OR; B) Be in-person in a top-tier hub for your talent. Anything else is admitting you want to hire B and C players.

@TradamWest @kyle_shoren @TheRoyalSerf Napoleon won far more battles and campaigns than Wellington. Both are accomplished, but Napoleon’s total career is not completely negated by a couple of bad losses. You’re not defined by one SB loss if you won 10 of them.

@NotASithLord @AchimWar Yeah I mean i kinda figure people will get brutalized by compute margins compressing and a hardware capex payback stretching out into the future.

@Yossari42739801 @AchimWar The hardware is much more expensive but yes the margins are much higher over 3-5 years. But that assumes enterprise rates, which assumes enterprise reliability and infra that a home does not have etc.

@AchimWar @NotASithLord I don't know what the interplay with the location of the hardware and cumpute purchaser is, but my understanding is that the margins are currently much higher to sell the compute to the AI company than to run compute to mine. But will the margins stay higher?

If you want to use it for your own inference then there are much more economical ways to go about that, unless you’re a real power user and have strict privacy concerns. Not most people. And even that is slowly getting addressed by TEE running on more capital efficient DC hardware. If it’s about monetizing excess power and/or utilizing waste heat, bitcoin mining is infinitely better because it’s stateless and perfectly interruptible. There’s no customer. The moment you introduce a third party that needs to access and utilize the hardware, the complexity goes through the roof, and you’re not going to get premium rates for isolated and probably not very reliable nodes with bandwidth constraints etc.

@NotASithLord Why? It's the same but there's no difficulty adjustment and the home owner can use it for themselves
