EBV (Epstein-Barr Virus) is often unspoken about, but it’s linked to many chronic conditions, including POTS. EBV lies dormant in the body but reactivates during times of stress or illness, like COVID. Each time it reactivates, it releases toxins that can harm your body. Some strains of EBV can cross the blood-brain barrier, causing serious issues in the nervous system and even replicating in the CNS, disrupting the blood-brain barrier’s integrity. When EBV stays dormant, it typically doesn’t cause issues, but reactivation after reactivation can lead to bigger problems. My blood work shows EBV reactivation in 2018 and 2023. While my doctor can’t say for certain if EBV caused my POTS, we know it worsened after a COVID infection and EBV reactivation.

@jge60 @dcpetterson That isn’t an accurate statement. There will be plenty of judicial pushback, even with SCOTUS, and the margins in Congress are still razor thin. “Full blind support” is a preposterous thing to say. Snap out of it.

Trump and his people have exhibited no interest in the legally required transition process. I suspect it's for two reasons: 1) As of 2019, they have to sign certain ethics pledges, AND reveal all conflicts of interest. I don't think they want to do that. But also... 1/6

@dcpetterson Despite the campaign rhetoric, I'm skeptical that we'll see wholesale dismantling of federal agencies or firing of fed employees, though perhaps some very targeted efforts. GOP has been squawking about getting rid of Dept of Ed for decades. Easier said than done, lawsuits, etc.

I could be wrong (and I hope I am), but I'm convinced Trump intends to shock and terrify the world, and frighten us all into obedience, in his first forty-eight hours. Do. Not. Comply. I won't list what I think will be in those Exec Orders. Read Project 2025. All at once. 6/6
