I think Morgan > Sandberg is a mainstream take Morgan was an OBP machine before it was cool, had tremendous power for his size, stole 689 (!!!) bases, was a great defender, and won 2 MVPs and 2 World Series. Forget being ahead of Sandberg; Morgan is perhaps top-2 of all time!!

I'm constantly in disbelief that people use this platform for anything other than talking about baseball, and I do hate when anything political comes up in my feed, but the algorithm just pushed me these two posts by U.S. Presidents. Same party, but staggeringly different. Wow.

Not enough people talk about Jose Guillen • 214 HR, 887 RBI, .761 OPS, 14 seasons • Was a 10-franchise man (5 AL, 5 NL) • Had 20 HR 5x, 90 RBI 3x, 30 2B 3x • Career 21 HR and 87 RBI per 162 • Famously had a cannon arm • Finished 7th in 1997 ROY voting • Hit 3 walk-off HR, all in extra innings • 1.031 OPS in 43 PA vs. Pedro Martinez • In 1998, made perhaps the GOAT throw • .302 BA, 119 XBH, 190 RBI from 2003-04 • .455/.571/.545 (1.117 OPS) in the postseason • 1 of 14 players to bat at least .295 with 80 or more home runs from 2003 to 2005, joining a list that includes some of the greatest hitters to ever play the game
