@onyves C'est un peu compliqué parce que j'enregistre parfois un ou deux jours à l'avance et je déplace en fonction de l'actu... Au moins la date est en texte dans les infos de l'épisode, ça compense un peu...

SCOTUS motivated upholding the ban with the *specific* argument that *national security concerns can trump free speech rights.*
This is so massive in the US political context.

That being said, the actual decision to make it unavailable and add the pop up was a voluntary action from ByteDance.

Marvel Snap has been removed from US app stores (likely because it’s also owned by ByteDance - TikTok’s parent company) and the dev team didn’t even know it was coming. Holy shit.

Apple just blocked Americans from installing Tik Tok on iOS. If iOS were an open platform, everyone would be free to download it from the web and connect to international servers through VPN. But Apple monopolizes US iOS app distribution and intentionally makes this impossible.

@Bhess I don’t dispute the logic of the argument (I actually agree with it). I’m just noting that the same argument could be made on topics that would make proponents of this law a lot more… uncomfortable (COVID is one, there are others).

National security has long been given deference by SCOTUS.
In this case Congress passed a bill and was signed into law by the president. Not an easy thing to do.
Plus add to that that the current court has been telling Congress over and over that if they don't like something then get a law passed on it instead of deferring their power to the executive.
Personally I am still bound to keep secret the secrets I learned working intel. So yeah free speech on that is forbidden to me. I'm fine with that.

Dons oui c’est un cas particulier and Trump vu qu’il contrôle l’avenir des crypto en général maintenant, mais le coin Trump n’a pas plus de valeur intrinsèque que d’autres.
