Great flight tonight. We explored each grain, blinded, with a four grain Starter (80 proof) and Finisher (113.9 proof).

Micallef No. 2 is all over the place, flavor wise, and each one is a little different. Wonderful experience each time I smoke them. Mayflower Connecticut has a natural sweetness and pops of black pepper. It went well with the sweet Knob Creek Blender’s Edition. KB Blender’s Edition is a little too sweet for me, usually, but I chose it because of the Mayflower’s sweeter profile.
