At SEEN-LEWISHAM global majority artists' festival @BroadwayCatford @nvrchuk last night: Black Wall Street - visceral, tragic & still disturbing portrayal of Greenwood, Oklahoma 1921, but beautifully performed score & hugely participative & inspiring story of hope & persistence.

We started the week attending the launch of #SEENLewisham2024 - a week long (10-16 June) collaboration between @nvrchuk @LewishamCouncil & @BroadwayCatford celebrating local, global majority artists. Long may this continue! 👏🏾🙌🏾🤎✨

Still humming that final number 'Black Wall Street'... Such a powerful, evocative performance by a talented cast who really brought the story of Greenwood, Oklahoma to life. Such a sad story but it needs to be told and known about more! #tulsa #SEENLewisham2024
