But what happened to Reels man? - Open a reel, an ad pops up mid-video - Video's about to end, next ad already counting down - Scroll 2-3 reels, a sponsored one shows up anyway It's a 30-60 second clip. Why two ad breaks? Creators here get paid like $1-2 for 5-6 million views. So who's actually eating that ad money? Reels basically copied @YouTube Shorts. Look how they place ads. Look how @X does it too. Neither feels this aggressive. 100 million+ users in my country alone. Guessing that's just too much opportunity to not squeeze.
