The OPs would like to welcome (back) Phil Gaut, as Director of Coaching. Phil has a wealth of experience in footy, with Old Trinity (VAFA) in A Grade, and the OPs in the late 00s / 10s. along with the area of high performance. We're thrilled to have Phil back at the Garvey

NEW RECRUIT: A Christmas treat for you all, Mitch Merkel has signed for season '24! The former senior GB and PH forward will be gracing us with his strong aerial contests at the pointy end of the Garvey. He is eager to bring a presence up forward and to the culture of the Club

Welcome to Old Paradians Kyle O’Sullivan. A former Eltham senior player with just shy of 100 games experience along with valuable leadership roles including Vice Captain. A multi positional run/carry half back and a prolific midfielder that will slot seamlessly into our side.

Introducing newest recruit Sam Gilmore, joining the OPs to play with club champion and brother Will. Sam joins us from Heidelberg after captaining their second Div1 flag in consecutive years, whilst Will returns from a couple of well-earned seasons off.

@GusGguuss @VAFA_HQ Clubs are able to apply for 4 “permits” a year Gus. Usually used in conjunction with a function. Also allowed to open the bar from the start of the seniors until halftime of that match, provided the alcohol is consumed inside the social facilities, and provided lunch is served.

@VAFA_HQ Hard for VAFA clubs to make money when the fans can’t have a beer at the game.

The VAFA has been informed by Simon Vincent, President of Old Paradians Football Club, that his committee met last week and resolved to move their Club into the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL) for season 2024 and beyond. The Club … Continued … dlvr.it/SvwQGf

@oldparadiansfc @VAFA_HQ Yes they have. Richard, David, Robert and Christopher MacIsaac, are 4 brothers who played in Kew’s VAFA G grade premiership team in 1989. This was the division that the thirds played in back then (previously the Club 18 competition).

Might need the @VAFA_HQ to go back through the record books to see if four brothers have played in a premiership together in any grade. Well done fellas. What a super day for yourselves and your family. #purplegreenandblue 💜💚💙
