I don’t think describing the Hormuz situation as the American Suez Crisis is accurate. The US is still, undoubtedly, a superpower. The problem is that the strategic objective necessary to win here (keeping the SoH open) is simply nigh-impossible.

It will likely keep dropping as countries let it rip and reinfect in mass to sustain their GDP. Things can be done to help like cleaning the air etc. but they refuse at the costs. Sad world really.
