Last night, Russian armed forces attacked several Ukrainian cities, once again targeting energy infrastructure. Our team visited several locations in Odesa struck during a massive loitering munitions attack to document its impact on civilians. The attack damaged an energy facility, multiple residential buildings, private houses, and a kindergarten. At least 3 civilians were killed and dozens, including children, were injured according to local authorities. Overnight attacks also hit several other cities and villages. An energy facility in Kharkiv City was severely damaged. The local authorities said up to 80% of the city lost electricity, and four civilians were reportedly injured.

#Ukraine: Ongoing attacks by #Russia are causing emergency power and heating outages across several regions. @volker_turk urges Russia to stop these attacks immediately. It is appalling to see civilians suffering. Targeting civilians & essential infrastructure is a clear violation of the rules of war. ➡️ ohchr.org/en/press-relea…
