The Oliver Sacks Foundation aims to  make Dr. Sacks’s writings available to the broadest possible audience, reduce the stigma of mental and neurological illness, and support a humane approach to neurology and psychiatry.

The @OliverSacks Foundation is publishing collected "Letters" by Oliver Sacks on November 5 (ready to pre-order). Reading his books has been a spiritual experience for me since I was a teenager. I am beyond grateful to the people creating further access to his mind through the new artifacts they are creating. Alongside the essay, read excerpts from LETTERS, edited by Kate Edgar, which vividly depict the young Oliver struggling to find his way in the world as both a doctor and a writer, under the strain of intense self-doubt and battles with his own emotional and mental health.
