The greatest lesson I have learned from @EulerLagrange is to build without cooperation assumptions. Before I joined @OpacityNetwork, I failed miserably as a founder building tooling for on-chain private credit use cases. I assumed fund managers would see the value in transparency and adopt a new way of doing things, i was wrong. I met @EulerLagrange at a Flashbots hacker house in SF and within 10 minutes we were talking about cooperation assumptions, at which point I realized he was on to something big. After another 20 minutes he asked me to come work for him.

The invest act enables examination based accreditation for retail investors. This would fix the bargain bw labor and capital in the US as the best tech investments have not been available to retail investors. …at least not before a $1 trillion IPO in the case of SpaceX. In previous generations, it would have been seen as a patriotic duty to own some Anduril. Would you be interested in tokenizing some shares for retail investors?

In today's episode of the continuing battle for truth and transparency in the murky waters of the secondary markets, here is a @VidaWealth email (using our logo!) claiming access to @anduriltech equity on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Vida is not an Anduril investor, they've never met with any of our executive team, have zero visibility to the business of our financials, and definitely don't have any access to Anduril shares. For reference, the price per share they're quoting is ~2x the last round price, and given that they don't have direct access, they're probably actually buying into someone else's SPV or trying to pitch a forward contract... but clearly you can't tell from this solicitation. But don't ask questions, just confirm your commitment by Friday! This was forwarded to us by two separate investors of ours, neither of which signed up for any mailing list or are active clients of Vida... a curious mind might wonder where they got their prospect list from.

The crazy thing is this list is probably the same today as it was in 2018

The founder of Laminar @latasajavi is in a unique position where he has a 5 year contract with the bank of spain from day 1. That allows him form an elite team and take his time to spot the right opportunity.  I can't say what that will be but i would keep a close eye on him for when the time comes. I appreciate the thoughtful critique @ChainLinkGod and @cot_research but this is a myopic view - one that only considers the perspective of a crypto degen (I don’t use this term pejoratively). @eigencloud may or may not capture the value of restaking. Its token may or may not capture the value if @eigencloud captures value. But it’s factually incorrect to assume that restaking is not working. It’s not only working but it’s critical infra that supports zkTLS and dozens of other micro services. If web3 will ever achieve its objectives we need more middleware and there isn’t enough economic security to support the hundreds or 000s of micro services offered by cloud providers like AWS, Azure etc. We wrote about this in 2023 on the restakingreport.com. I think what we wrote then is still true today. It’s up to @eigencloud and @sreeramkannan to make sure that Eigen token holders capture the value. In my mind there is no question they have created the value. I don’t think crypto works without restaking. Even @jito_sol is now offering it on @solana and @OpacityNetwork uses restaking on both.

Client side is the way to go if you want zkTLS x AI

While pumpfun continues to print money, bc launching creator tokens has a market, there are many more use cases on Solana that you might find interesting. Here’s a brief list of teams that are building apps on Solana, jogging through my memory of recent convos: @omnipair - building permissionless spot and lending markets. It’s like @ajnafi but on Solana. @RevTec_fi - building an LST primitives so users can trade validators’ yield @MetaDAOProject - building a launchpad to launch ownership coins (including omnipair’s coin) and using futarchy for governance @pipenetwork - building a CDN and using solana as the coordination layer @tapedrive_io - building decentralized S3 on Solana @OpacityNetwork - building zktls on Solana @meleemarkets - building permissionless prediction markets Again, just a small list from recent convos — it does not even include all their competitors, all the progress made with institutions, all the defi apps making Solana the best chain for onchain price discovery, stablecoin innovation, and other categories of tech like DePIN that are accelerating and using Solana as home base for their value creation and distribution. No one serious on Solana thinks memecoins are the end state for the chain, and it’s evident from the progress and builders despite what it might seem like from the outside!
