@SunnyNFTz Dynamic NFTs are complicated because metadata and rarity will likely change frequently. We need better standards for this across the nft ecosystem.

@openrarity What is your insight about dynamic NFT? Since more tools, such as rarity, are being integrated to Opensea, I want to know if you have any plan to add features/UXUI for utility NFTs where metadata need to be updated constantly.

@FidelEverywhere @icy_tools @opensea @proof_xyz @curiotools yeah unfortunately OpenRarity is only built for ERC-721 collections right now but that is on our roadmap.

I can't activate attribute-based collection offers for this because the traits will change in the future, as I burn a piece for every piece bought by someone (picture 1). 2. I can't activate OR rankings for any of my collections because of an ERC721 error (picture 2).

So after I tweeted about the change of rankings with @openrarity their dev joined the @SVSNFT discord with a proposed solution. Huge respect for the team.

2/ We created a “double sort” that first sorts by unique traits and then sorts by information content to solve this issue. We plan to merge this change soon, pending no gotchas. For those who want to see more detailed information, here is the PR - github.com/OpenRarity/ope…

1/ 1 of 1s are items in a collection that have at least one unique trait value. The current algorithm, information content, can hide 1 of 1s which results in a lower rank and that does not match community expectations.

2/ Creators can “opt in” to Trait Count in rarity rank calculations by including it in their metadata and OpenRarity will use it in rank calculations. Guide here: openrarity.gitbook.io/developers/qui…

1/ Trait Count represents the number of unique traits for an NFT. We know it’s important for some creators to include Trait Count in their rarity ranks and we want to have a solution for creators in OpenRarity. But, we also wanted this choice to be visible to the community.
