Some of my favorite founder moments are the scrappy ones, when you have to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. It always reminds me of growing up helping my parents with their small business. It’s personally very rewarding and a humble reminder of how lucky we are to have the opportunity to build a company at the intersection of art, technology, and finance.

Jules is a Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist who has spent his life behind the lens — making original films, photography, and motion design for fashion brands, musicians, and tech companies before turning to onchain art to explore the relationship between humans, nature, and technology. His practice sits at the intersection of pop culture aesthetics and a quiet reverence for the natural world, and his work consistently returns to the same human concerns: time, beauty, love, and loss. Jules entered the NFT space in 2021 and released The Flowers Project in 2022 — a collection of 50 1-of-1 photographs of physically staged plants, each piece processed through a custom CRT circuit-bending setup that introduced unpredictable analog distortions. Every Flower is a dynamic NFT: the smart contract reads the Ethereum price in real time, revealing a glitched state of the original image when the market drops. The Flowers were displayed at The Crypt Gallery's Dream Hollywood location and sit alongside The Garden, a contractually bound curatorial project that gathers works from his peers as gifts to the original Flowers. His later series have continued to explore that same blend of organic subject matter and process-driven systems. Objective Theory (2023–2025) took a more conceptual turn, while Everything All Together (2024) and the ongoing body of installations and live moments — including 24 Hours of Art livestream events from Los Angeles — have positioned Jules as one of the most consistent storytellers in the photography-and-code crossover. Birds, his new collection made in collaboration with @mungimungimungi, is the latest chapter in that practice. The inclusion of Birds in our Flagship Collection recognizes an artist who treats the camera, the code, and the chain as one continuous tool — making work that holds the warmth of analog photography while letting the smart contract become part of the picture. Birds extends that approach into a shared space: works built with a collaborator, released live before an audience, and rooted in the same themes of time and place that have defined Jules' work from the start.
