Hi there! We review and re-write modules on a regular basis. As A340 is reaching the end of it’s lifespan, it will be re-written/replaced for October 2027. While we don’t currently have details on what the new module will look like, the information will be provided by the time registration opens for the 2027/2028 academic year. -Zoe

@OpenUniversity @BBCNews , my 87year old father in law is currently in his last year of an English degree. He had a health scare and is waiting for the results of a biopsy. He suspended his Feb assignment, and has repeatedly tried to rejoin his course. Help, no one from OU can!

Really shocked how expensive @OpenUniversity study has become in England. It would literally be cheaper to pay to up sticks and move to Wales then start studying. Why is it so bad for English students?

@OpenUniversity Yes, I’m one of your grads. An OU tutor detected my Dyslexia, no one else had,helped get me professionally diagnosed and got me help. Sadly, the rise in fees* prevented me going further, but I really enjoyed my time with you. *OU students have always paid fees even before 1998.

@OpenUniversity can you please sort out your phone connection line literally everytime calling in waiting for so long as it is when finally getting through the line cuts off on your end and no one calls back even though they have the number

@OpenUniversity Now it’s its fully booked. I am struggling to understand how a ceremony can be fully booked at the exact moment bookings open, especially when the system itself was unavailable. This experience has left me extremely concerned about the fairness and reliability of the process.

@OpenUniversity ceremony bookings opened at 10:00hrs. I logged in at 10:00 on the dot, only to get “booking system is not available.”Called for help immediately and was told it’s already full and I’m now on the waiting list. How does that even make sense?

@OpenUniversity Finally got through on the phone. Only option is to go on waiting list or travel from London to Midlands. Very disappointing that the only option is 2 chances on the same day. I was anxious about going anyway so..

@OpenUniversity missed out on a graduation again. Page opened at 10 but the 'book ceremony' button didn't appear until 10.05. Then it said I have more than one option. Page crashed. Had to go back in another way via my degree. Put in my tickets and now full! All gone in 5 mins!
