I was waiting to vote; guy in front of me told me it would be the first time he’d voted for President since he just turned 20. I told him my first vote for President was for John Kerry. He had no idea who that was and I felt like I was a million years old. And kinda am.

@mattcharney Agreed! This is something I’ve grappled with myself - though, I do think tools that help remove bias could help address unconscious barriers that may be hindering diverse hires.... but don’t see how other tools can impact this outside of bias normalization...

Since you can’t legally make a hiring decision based on someone’s race or gender, and hiring quotas are also illegal, I have no idea what the hell diversity has to do with recruiting or sourcing. But it really doesn’t belong in this part of the business.
