Excited to share our new work in Dev Cell (authors.elsevier.com/a/1lg4l_Yv6zvZ…), led by my highly talented postdoc Deli Hong! We find that loss of NOTCH2 creates a dependency on TRIM28, highlighting TRIM28 as a potential therapeutic target in NOTCH2-deficient or low-NOTCH2 SCLC.

📰🚨📢 I am honored and thrilled to share that, starting August 1, I have joined The Ohio State University as a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Associate Director of Research, and Director of the Lung Cancer Preclinical Therapeutic Platform in the Division of Medical Oncology @OhioState. The transition to this leadership role is both humbling and exciting. I will lead efforts to advance translational research across all solid tumors, with a mission to bridge #preclinical discovery and #clinical impact. I am excited to begin the next chapter of the #SenLab here at @OSUWexMed, where my lab will continue to focus on resistance mechanisms, lineage plasticity, and therapeutic innovation in aggressive #thoracic #cancers. In our murine model, we saw viral like particles originated from the endogenous retroviruses, accompanied by hair loss and stem cell exhaustion, which can be rescued by antiviral drugs.
