Fast forward a year. They’re both Big Ten Champions. They’re both National Champions. And they’re both likely first-round picks in the NBA Draft. Pretty good deal for all involved.

Tom Izzo sure picked a great game to attend as a fan of local college hoops. He got to see five guys who played college basketball in the state of Michigan suit up for an NBA playoff game. If that’s not enough, he also got to see a Big Ten team honored for being National Champs.
