Peterhead FC can confirm that Craig McGuffie will depart the club this summer due to a change in personal circumstances. The club had made Craig an improved offer to remain at Balmoor, and we would have been delighted to see him continue in a blue shirt, but we fully respect his decision and understand the reasons behind it. Craig played a pivotal role for us last season and everyone at Peterhead FC would like to thank him sincerely for his efforts during his time with the club. We wish Craig all the very best for the future.

Peterhead FC Board Update Peterhead FC can confirm that Vice-Chairman Les Hill will be stepping down from the Board for the next twelve months to take some time away from the club. Since joining the Board in 2018, Les has given a tremendous amount of time, energy and support to Peterhead FC. His contribution, both personally and professionally, has been invaluable and he will be a great miss around the Board table. While Les is stepping back from his day-to-day role, we know he will not be a stranger at Balmoor and we look forward to continuing to welcome him at the club in the months ahead. Chairman Rodger Morrison said: “Les has been a tremendous support to both myself and the wider Board since joining the club in 2018. His commitment, drive and willingness to help in many different areas has made a real difference to Peterhead FC. While we will miss his involvement on the Board, we fully understand and respect his decision to take some time away. We are also delighted that Les has mutually agreed to continue to lead on the Annual Business Lunch, which he has helped grow into such an important and successful event for the club. On behalf of everyone at Peterhead FC, I would like to thank Les sincerely for his outstanding service and support. He will always be made welcome at Balmoor.” From Les Hill: "After a great deal of thought, I have decided to step back from my role as Vice Chairman for the next year. This was not an easy decision, but due to increasing business and personal commitments, I feel it is the right time to take a step back and focus on those demands properly. I want to thank our Chairman, Rodger Morrison, for the support and trust he has always given me, particularly throughout the process of making this decision. It has also been a privilege to work alongside our two young managers and watch their development, dedication, and success. To my fellow directors, our fans, sponsors, players, staff, and everyone connected with the club - thank you. This club and its people mean a great deal to me. Thank you all for your understanding and continued support. Kind Regards Les Hill"

Dunne extends his stay! 🔵⚪️💙 Peterhead FC are delighted to confirm that, by mutual agreement, the club and Cieran Dunne have triggered the second-year option in his contract, keeping him at Balmoor until 2027. Cieran played an integral role in our league-winning campaign, but unfortunately suffered an ankle injury at the beginning of the season which ruled him out for the remainder of the year. It has been a difficult period for Cieran, having undergone two operations and faced a number of setbacks along the way but he has been determined throughout to return to play a part in the squad. Everyone at the club is looking forward to seeing Cieran back out on the pitch and bringing his blistering pace back to Balmoor. 💬 "First of all, I’d like to thank the club for standing by me when they could easily have gone in a different direction, I really appreciate the faith they’ve shown in me. At the same time, I know I still have plenty to give, and I’m determined to get back fit, available and ready to contribute to the club’s progress. Last season was incredibly difficult for me personally. It was cruelly taken away after a bad tackle in the opening game left me side-lined, despite all the hard work and preparation I had put in throughout pre-season. My ambitions and goals for the year were suddenly cut short, and from that point on, everything that could go wrong seemed to go wrong. It certainly wasn’t through a lack of effort, but unfortunately we weren’t able to fully resolve the issue throughout the course of the season. However, after undergoing a second operation on my ankle last week, I can finally start looking forward again with real optimism and hopefully put last season’s setbacks behind me. I know it will take time and patience to get back up to speed and return to my previous levels, but I also know I have the backing of the managers and, hopefully, the support of the fans to help me do that. Hopefully, together, we can go one better next season and achieve promotion" - Cieran Dunne

Niall steps into the role of First Team Coach! 🔵⚪️💙 Peterhead FC are delighted to confirm that Niall McGinn will take on the role of First Team Coach, combining the position with his playing duties at Balmoor. Following the departure of Jamie McNee, the management team felt this was a natural progression, with @nmcginn10 already a respected figure within the dressing room. Niall has built a strong relationship with the players and staff during his time at the club and commands the full respect of everyone at Peterhead FC. His experience in the game speaks for itself, and alongside his illustrious playing career, he holds his UEFA A Licence and currently works within the Aberdeen FC Academy. PFC are excited about the fresh ideas, knowledge and experience Niall will bring to the role and look forward to seeing him continue to make a positive impact both on and off the pitch. 💬 "I'm absolutely delighted to have agreed to stay at Peterhead F.C. in a player/coach role for next season. From the moment I arrived, I’ve felt the passion and togetherness that makes this such a special community club. There’s a real belief around the place, a hard-working group in the dressing room, and huge potential to keep moving forward both on and off the pitch. I’m excited to continue helping the team as a player while also taking on the responsibility of coaching and supporting the team and younger lads in their development" - Niall McGinn

Jamie departs Balmoor! Assistant Manager Jamie McNee is leaving Peterhead FC to take up a new position as First Team Manager. Jamie joined the management team in 2023 and was one of Ryan and Jordon’s first appointments after taking charge. He quickly settled in and became a popular figure at Balmoor, known for his passion for the game, football acumen, and enthusiasm. He will be a big miss within our backroom staff, but this is a fantastic opportunity for Jamie and one we know he will embrace. Everyone at the club would like to thank Jamie for his hard work, commitment, and contribution during his time with us. We wish him all the very best, both on and off the pitch, going forward. @jamiemcnee, you and your family will always be welcome back at Balmoor 🔵⚪️💙 To hear Jamie's post-match analysis on yesterday's game and also his thoughts on leaving Balmoor, please visit the link below ⤵️ youtube.com/watch?v=CJ5JNE…
