Cabinet considered the 2025 Zimbabwe livelihoods and nutrition assessment report. -35 percent of adults aged between 18 and 59 are overweight and obese. -Vitamin A supplementation for children aged 6 to 59 months has surpassed 90 pct.

Earlier today, the FNC Director General Dr. G. D. Kembo visited a livelihoods project in Ward 10, Mbire District. The project supported by the Mbire DFNSC, is empowering local women in mushroom farming, goat breeding and ISALS.

Today @mpslswzim launched the Joint Social Protection System Strengthening Programme to combat food insecurity and climate risks. This innovative program aims to enhance the country's social protection systems, ensuring better planning, coordination, and implementation.

Currently underway is the #SADC RVAA Steering Committee Meeting. The Steering Committee plays a crucial role in guiding the programme's strategic direction and implementation. In attendance are Permanent Secretaries responsible for Vulnerability Assessment Committees, Directors and Deputy Directors responsible for Disaster Risk Management, Chairpersons of National Vulnerability Assessment Committees, among others. #Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
