When you think you hear someone's toe move a single inch in Hauler and you freeze for a full 60 seconds and crank the volume to 1000... Finally, you think, "Must have been nothing!" THEN SUDDENLY YOU'RE ☠️ It was NOT nothing. NOTHING in this game is. Solo in Marathon is wild.

@ArachneMTHN I heard from someone that they should swap his abilities around and I agree heavily, make the invis his ult, reduce size of smokebomb and make it normal ability.

Okay so if I speak on balancing on any other character, the people who play them cheer in agreement but the moment I say anything about assassin I get a billion different people all being disgustingly toxic and abusive and very clearly strike a nerve with the unemployed overweight demographic. Got it.

The Arc Raiders community is one of the worst in gaming. You know, Arc Raiders is pretty boring with zero endgame content, and all they ever talk about is numbers. In case you didn't know, numbers don't always determine the quality of something. In many ways, Marathon is better.

@ehwoah9999 @StarshiipeR unfortunately, aggression based matchmaking makes the interactions predictable. You're either getting straight pvp, or everyone holding hands singing kumbaya. Arc on launch was peak, abm ruined it. and before you say it, no i wasnt a pure pvp player

@StarshiipeR Le contenu endgame c'est les trials et avec de la créativité le jeu n'est jamais ennuyeux puisque l'interaction avec les autres joueurs est la base du gameplay, tout le monde est différent, toutes les interactions le sont et chaque game l'est. Vous jouez juste à Arc comme cod

Dans un monde normal Marathon doit avoir plus de succès que Arc Raiders, le jeu a tellement plus de profondeur et une boucle de gameplay bien au dessus d'Arc. Sans parler de Cryo Archive qui est une masterclass de design pour un extract shooter. à côté de ça, Arc Raiders une fois la découverte passée c'est plat, y'a pas grand chose à farmer et qui incite les joueurs à se la donner. Un gros manque de dopamine sur le loot et l'absence total d'un contenu End game. L'emballage est sympa mais le reste ne suit pas.

@MallowTheQueen the difference I guess is that you can kill someone with this gun, then you have said raid exotic gun.

Maybe a hot take: I don't like that the Compiler drops a unique weapon. I definitely think there should be SOME really good reward. But I've literally only seen this gun used on players vibing in Perimeter. I just don't think the "Raid Exotic" approach suits an Extraction Shooter

@TheZector yeah, don't start with it. a lot happens in the first 2 games, and the third game is a bit different both in goal and that its open world.

Congratulations to all the runners who’ve been battling it out in the floating death fridge we call Cryo Archive! We’ve been watching and ingesting all the thoughts and feedback that we’re hearing, aggregating it and taking it down in notes. After this weekend we’ll spend some time looking into feedback and thinking of the next iterations we want to make: Main topics we’ve noted so far: - Scheduling : options for players who can’t play on weekends - Solos : is there any way to play this map without joining a crew? - Subroutines: can subroutines be more guaranteed as a drop from vaults? Any of these may take some time to figure out so I can’t guarantee quick solutions here but we’ll definitely discuss these topics as a team this week. Thanks for sticking with us as we evolve the game, and helping us fight the good fight against the cyborgs, robots, and aliens!

Cryo Archive is an amazing map. One of the toughest maps I've ever seen. But why make the AI chips RNG? Kinda kills the vibe. Then make a boss that only top 1% players can do in time. Definitely a gamble. I feel like most players will just ignore the vaults and boss.
