@tinucherian It happened to me when I accidentally sent someone 300 rupees (my auto driver got the number wrong!) I did send a message but neither expected a response or money back and I was 300-bucks-lighter right :)

I got a 100 rs via UPI from an unknown. Then i get a call from someone saying it is an accident and if I kindly can send it back to him Is this some scam/trick or legit?

Another passionately curated exhibition on a subject that we don't think about but is hugely important to all of us. Shall we talk about what public spaces mean, in general and to us? Each of us.

As a daily long-distance autorickshaw commuter, I make 2 requests - no honking, no spitting while I'm in the auto. Then I sit back and observe the different reactions - they're amused, uncomfortable, indignant, but they all heed my request! So, I keep asking :)

The world sees water and a dome. If you've spent a little time at IIHS, you see private, public. You see built environment, religious typologies, and ecology and biodiversity. You cannot unsee the world. You begin to see it.

@beastoftraal My 14 year old called out each of the instances where stereotypes played out but was actually appalled when a few in the audience whistled during those scenes and others sniggered loudly. The comments here easily point to the whistling set, I see.

@divyarrs The safety pins, cutting vegetables & storing it in cleverly partitioned handbags. Bombay trains! My fav memory is an aunty offering me her gynaec's no when she discovered I'd been married 6 years and childless 😀🙃 and safety pins, symbol of feminine stoicism.

I spent 10 mins looking for a safety pin. Then remembered the helpful aunties in Mumbai trains. Their gold chains held so many safety pins that helped in emergencies. Ah, the silent work women do in repairing, patching, saving things from breaking down even when on the move.
