A boy with a mental illness from Jurupa Valley HS supposedly won first place in the High Jump and triple jump in the girls event at the Southern Section Finals. This is the CIF thinking, we know it’s wrong, so let’s humiliate the true girl champion and have a boy stand next to Gwynneth Mureika. The sad thing is, the CIF thinks they fixed the problem thinking it’s OK to have co-champions🤦🏻 Now remember, this is all happening because of our hypocrite, pathetic governor, and the superintendent of schools, Tony Thurman. This crap could stop today, but they won’t let it.. The CIF has NO POWER to stop boys with a mental illness competing against girls. They can only give out ribbons and trophies whoever shows up. If a gorilla at the zoo was eligible to compete in the girls event and won, the CIF would give the gorilla a first place ribbon 🤦🏻 I just wish the CIF and the Jurupa administration would simply come out and say we don’t agree with it but our hands are tied but they’re spineless and they won’t. The CIF won’t admit it’s so fudged up and won’t stand up for girls which is 50% of their clientele and that’s embarrassing. Women have fought so hard for so long on title IX and now this!! Make a note, The true champions in the meet were Long Jump champion GIANNA GONZALEZ of Moorpark HS and High Jump champion went to GWYNNETH MUREIKA of Oak Park HS. We all have to stop mentioning the freak with a perverted sickness name. His time should be up! The CIF should give out his award in the boys restroom where he belongs. California is broken! This is embarrassing for the Central Valley of California. Boys with a mental illness competing against girls and using the girls’ restroom should NEVER be normalized. I have four daughters, and there’s ZERO chance I’d stay silent watching this happen at a track meet. Santa Maria has a tremendous sports tradition, but this situation and the spineless leadership at Santa Maria allowing it deserves serious criticism. Shame on the adults refusing to stand up for female athletes and that includes the people running these track meets! Soon Clovis is about to be thrown into the national spotlight during the state track championships at Buchanan HS because California leadership continues to allow boys with a mental illness in girls’ sports. That’s not the kind of attention the great town of Clovis deserves. Beautiful Buchanan HS will be a circus with media. Parents never signed up to have their daughters’ privacy, safety, and fair competition sacrificed to satisfy political agendas. Female athletes deserve fairness, protection, and a level playing field. It’s simply COMMON SENSE! it’s a huge political season, and if you get a chance to ask somebody running for office what they think about boys with a mental illness, playing in girl sports and if they agree with it, please do not vote for them and please spread the word on that worthless political hack! I assume the reason the coach required the boy to use the boys’ bathroom is because in this part of the Central Valley (not liberal or woke) the mothers and grandmothers at that track meet would have complained upon seeing a man in their space.
