Our #civ7 bookclub continues with Kintu by Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi. While not directly quoted in the game, this book weaves in the history of Buganda (modern age civ in the game) and experiments with different traditions of storytelling. We’ll be meeting to discuss in 6 weeks!

In L.A. as I recover from a clinical trial procedure on my left eye. Vision is still super limited, but slowly healing. Been reading quite a bit of Game of Thrones as it's easier on my working right eye than work on the laptop. Definitely agree with this quote.

One assignment was to write a detailed review about a new temporary exhibit that we all visited as a class. One person tried AI and it was painfully obvious (very generic, info taken from website).

@EyeOnStalk @SJLahey Re: 2, I’d like to know. I’m always a little skeptical of people who believe they’ve AI-proofed (or plagiarism-proofed) their assignments.

An NYU professor AI-proofed his assignments. The students complained they were too hard and that “he was interfering with their ‘learning styles.’”
