@Parkmobile once again overcharging for the Wesmont lot. Kiosk on site, NJT, and Park America all show it should be 4$ but ParkMobile chooses to overcharge their customers

Parking reservations are provided on a first come, first serve basis and the parking operator may tend to oversell their parking inventory where the area is completely full and no spaces are available. ParkMobile does not own, operate, or manage the parking areas where you park. ParkMobile is an alternative payment option for your parking area and permit provider. Please contact the facility directly if you have any questions regarding parking availability or assistance is needed on-site.

@Parkmobile I ended up canceling my reservation and had to drive around for AN HOUR to find other accommodations. The parking should be localized with attendants at all lots. Why is this not happening?

I am sorry for your frustration. Unfortunately, the parking times and cost are configured by our clients, as we are simply facilitating the transaction. I strongly encourage you to reach out to the owner of the parking area and let them know that you would like different options with your parking.

We apologize for any trouble this may have caused. When you park your vehicle, you must ensure that you are parking in an area with ParkMobile stickers and/or signs with our logo, phone number, and zone number. Make sure you are entering the posted zone number that appears on the sign or sticker in your parking area. When you use that zone number in your app, follow the remaining required prompts, and agree to the charge to start parking, you will have paid for parking and will be ready to go.

Yes, I have a question. I used my ParkMobile app this past weekend. I entered my friends plate number correctly. I paid for three hours that is in my app however they got a $75 parking fine taped to their window. I double checked that we were in the right space and I had added their license plate correctly. I’ve contacted you guys. I’ve hit up your support. I’ve gotten zero response at all. Can somebody please help me?

We would love to provide that feature! Unfortunately, our app is bound by the same restrictions that the parking meters are, including minimum parking times and no refunds. I understand your request and strongly encourage you to reach out to the owner of the parking area and let them know that you would like more options with your parking.

This is a good example of government authoritarianism over citizens. There is absolutely no reason why there shouldn’t be a way to correct or refund a simple mistake like this. The real issue is that the system isn’t designed with flexibility or customer experience in mind. In a private company, they would usually be happy to change the zone or issue a refund to keep the customer satisfied. But when a service operates like a monopoly under government control, there is no incentive to improve efficiency.

Some serious great UX at @Parkmobile doesn’t let you terminate a parking session early. So you just get their enormous (and battery draining) countdown with no way to dismiss. Normally that thing is nice, but a 15 hour parking session!! wtf I guess they want me to uninstall
