After years of waiting for the @newaetech ChipSHOUTER, I finally got my paws on one ⚡️⚡️

DMtek ADM6996L dark field shot. This is a 6 port 10/100 Mb/s single chip Ethernet switch controller. Has built-in SRAM used for packet buffer and address learning table divided into 256 bytes/block to achieve the optimized memory utilization through link list on packets.

What was cool about this chip specifically was seeing these current sinks that basically sets the current through a load based on the DAC output voltage. (4/6)

Decapsulated some unknown IC that was from an iPhone 6, that some of the features were not working on it. Potentially some knock off chip. The IC was located near the camera, and there no package markings. Only found “stumpe_8” on the die itself.
