What was cool about this chip specifically was seeing these current sinks that basically sets the current through a load based on the DAC output voltage. (4/6)

After quite the break from writing, I decided to come back researching one of my favorite topics in this field. An introduction to Hardware Trojans: how they work, how to identify them, and how to make your own! ryancor.medium.com/hardware-troja…

My attempt to make Copper Acetylsalicylic Acid but the acetyl decided to fuck off… but at least copper salicylate is still nice on the eyes 😎 #chemistry #chemtwitter #science

My buddy told me about this game called Disco Elysium that was potentially being disguised as a fake nodeJS.exe file downloaded from a sketchy site, and that it was possibly backdoor’d. VirusTotal and other sandbox sites flagged this 86mb file as “safe”. I wasn’t convinced…(1/2)

Picked up a 100x LWD LMPlan achromatic metallurgical microscope objective lens. The working distance is about 2mm. Here are a couple of test run images.

Decapsulated some unknown IC that was from an iPhone 6, that some of the features were not working on it. Potentially some knock off chip. The IC was located near the camera, and there no package markings. Only found “stumpe_8” on the die itself.

Decided to gift myself with an early early 30th birthday present, and buy myself a good old NMR from @Nanalysis ! Did my first run on caffeine that I extracted through energy pills. The peaks were pretty damn on point. I had one impurity spike at 1.87ppm, not sure what it is.
