@WuBlockchain The problem isn't how the phrase is stored or transmitted. It's that the phrase exists at all. A key that never assembles in full gives platforms nothing to demand and users nothing to expose.

SlowMist Cos: There is extremely unsafe behavior on Coinbase Commerce's Withdraw page, where it directly asks users to enter their plaintext mnemonic phrase for asset recovery. Most institutions aren't waiting for more clarity. They're waiting for someone to build the infrastructure that makes acting on it defensible. Regulatory certainty shifts the question from "Is this allowed?" to "Can we prove we did it right?" That's a harder problem—and a more interesting one.
