TCD shows flattening of the left MCA secondary to ipsilateral internal carotid occlusion with adequate cross-flow through the anterior communicating artery.

Study of the Vertebrobasilar circulation by echo-doppler demonstrating adequate permeability of the extra-intracranial studied segments and absence of hemodynamically reflected obstructive lesions.
