Mercenary expeditions are one of COR3’s progression systems. Hire a mercenary for a single 20-minute operation, choose a location and follow the outcome through the Mission Channel. Be careful: during the expedition, the Mission Channel may present decisions that let you influence how the operation unfolds. After an expedition, the mercenary returns to the market pool after cooldown. You may see them again later with the same rank and trait, or you may not. If they die, they are removed from the system permanently. Choose wisely.

What do you guys think about this? One map a week. Has a modified lobby. It costs 300k to enter (think like labs cards or something). The selected map has multiple bosses on 100% spawn, one time of day selection, no transition extracts, NO insurance, NO PLAYER SCAVS, increased locked rooms loot pools, increased airdrop loot pools, and increased XP rewards. Lore could easily be added to this cycle to explain it, and community tasks could be used to determine the map each week.

Something I am curious about and I wanted to see if the community is feeling the same way that I am. Does it feel like your ammo does nothing towards chest shots? Since there is no wipes on Escape From Tarkov anymore it feels like Ammo has become not as good and Its because everyone is running T5 and T6 plates I guess? Its not impossible to get high tier ammo but its not easy either. It feels like shooting someone in the chest just doesn't matter anymore with the ammo that you can get from traders and from crafting. So you need to headshot people instead of shooting for chest because chest shots unless you have the best ammo just isn't worth it because people take no damage from certain shots because of how the armor is done right now. I don't really know how to fix it this unless they went back to the old armor system? It just feels like things are weird right now and I wanted to make a post and see how everyone else in the community thought about it. Here is a video of me getting shot by the BTR and my armor tanked the entire round and did 0 damage to my chest.
