❓Have you heard of the famous Cambodian Kampot pepper? We visited farms in Kampot Province where this world-renowned pepper is grown. Due to extreme droughts and heatwaves production of this crop and the health of the farmworkers have been imperilled.

🧵 Meet Vesna, a teacher from North Macedonia. She sewed her first skirt at the age of nine. She teaches young people how to give textile waste a new life and about the negative impacts of "fast fashion" and explains that old fabric doesn't have to be waste.

Therefore, the Zambian CSO PEACE has helped local people stand up for their rights and their land. Our team at PIN Zambia support organisations like PEACE in Zambia and help them with their daily operations.

In the village of Masaba, Zambia, many families were forced from their homes due to illegal mining. 🗨️ "Illegal miners set up on my land and chased us away. We are left with nothing and no means to do anything. We also have nowhere to live," says a local resident.
